Inert ingredient systems can be characterized as any substance or group of substances other than active ingredients intentionally included in a pesticide. Examples are: emulsifiers, solvents, stabilizers, carriers, antifoam agents, or dye. These inert systems are incorporated into the pesticide formula, which is then used by farmers to increase crop productivity.
